Everyone wants to have a memorable wedding day. As a result, a lot of effort goes into preparing for this day. However, almost everyone later wishes that there are things they should have known before the big event. Don’t regret it later. Remember that there are things that you should know and others that are good to know. Here is what will make your day simple, memorable, and less dramatic.

1. Delegate

Often, planning your wedding comes in the middle of living your daily life and attending to the typical day-to-day responsibilities like school or work. As a result, time flies so fast, and let no one lie to you that you can handle everything alone. You are better off with a professional wedding planner to ensure everything is in perfect shape and a coordinator to eliminate the hassle of aligning things on the D-day. Preferably, your coordinator should be a family member or a long-time friend who is familiar with your guests and understands your family's microscopic preferences. You should be the chief guest at your wedding, not a servant running up and down to ensure everyone is comfortable.

2. Stick Within Your Budget

It’s okay that you want to have a big day and create a lasting memory on your guests’ minds. However, it’s essential to consult your budget with your preferences and work with what you can effortlessly manage. Talk to your wedding planner and vendors about what you desire to have and your budget. If it's higher than your limits, they can guide you on the alternatives that will still preserve your idea but not cost much.

3. Investigate your wedding date for any blackouts

Local events like charity walks or trade conferences may cause negative experiences for your big day. They may impact the traffic or limit the availability of hotel rooms in your locality. As a result, you may want to investigate your day and plan for any likely events.

4. Plan for cake transportation

Cake transportation is a common hassle that almost every wedding faces.

Avoid the delays beforehand and put everything in order before the day. You can organize a Refrigerated Courier to transport your wedding cake to the venue. That ensures that it arrives with its sweet chilled flavors, and every component is intact.

5. Stick with your partner

Your wedding day is a day for you two. It’s not the right time to show how you can independently hang around during the cocktail or hang out with an endless list of friends and relatives. While it’s natural that you want to catch up with the important people present, make it quick and go back to your spouse. If possible, link arms, steal glances, and smile at each other. That helps you build good memories for your wedding and gives your photographer an easy time capturing you together.

6. After everything, remember what’s important

Nearly every wedding will likely have an unfortunate occurrence. If you ask around, almost every spouse will give you a story about how one thing or the other almost ruined their big day. Whether it’s the flower girls crying, zippers breaking in front of everyone, or anything, remember that your wedding is the most important thing. The fact that you’re tying knots with the love of your life should cheer you up despite the heavy storm sweeping through.

Similarly, you control the mood of the day. If you keep a smiling face and seem thrilled all through, your guests will also have fun despite the surroundings’ happenings.
